CHRISTOPHER A. WILSON
President
Christopher A. Wilson, President of Wilson Commercial Real Estate, has 23 years of retail commercial real estate experience in the Southern California market. His expertise is concentrated on the leasing and sales of institutional quality shopping centers representing the Landlord. He has participated in the leasing of more than five million square feet of retail space and the sale of 50 shopping centers during his career with a total value exceeding $750 million.
Prior to forming Wilson Commercial Real Estate in 1990, he served as Vice President of Champion Development and was responsible for the acquisition, development and leasing of over $25 million of retail projects in northern Los Angeles County and began his retail real estate career in 1985 as a retail specialist with Grubb & Ellis working in the San Gabriel Valley. Preceding his commercial real estate career, Mr. Wilson held a position as a manufacturer's representative selling seasonal and sporting goods product lines to major chain retailers across the 11 western states.
Mr. Wilson graduated from the University of Southern California in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and received his Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University in 1985. He holds a California Department of Real Estate Broker license.
Mr. Wilson is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He has served on its Southern California Program Committee since 1996 and served as the ICSC California State Chairman and a member of the ICSC's San Fernando Valley Local Program Committee. He has served as the Chairman of ICSC's Western Division Conference in Palm Springs, the Southern California Idea Exchange in Long Beach, the Co-Chair of ICSC's California Alliance Program and was formerly ICSC California State Government Relations Co-Chair. He is also a frequent speaker at ICSC and other industry programs. Mr. Wilson is an ad hoc professor at the USC Lusk School of Business in the MRED program teaching shopping center planning and development.
Mr. Wilson presently serves on the Southern California Golf Association Board of Directors and is an active member of Lakeside Golf Club in Hollywood, California.
SCOTT F. BURNS
Senior Vice President
Scott F. Burns joined Wilson Commercial Real Estate in January 1998. His primary focus is shopping center in-fill and new development leasing and sales of commercial properties throughout Southern California and is actively involved in the leasing and account management of the 50 shopping centers in the Wilson Commercial Real Estate listing portfolio. His strong background in shopping center marketing strategies, development consulting services and overall retail market analysis is a valuable asset to clients and he has represented major institutional property owners such as General Growth Properties, Weingarten Realty Investors, Burnham Pacific, Westwood Financial, Auburndale Properties and ICI Development.
Mr. Burns graduated from California State University at Northridge in December 1997 with a bachelor's degree in Business Law and holds a California Department of Real Estate Salesperson license. He remains active with his university as a member of the California State University Real Estate Department program committee. As an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), he is a member of the ICSC's Next Generation National Advisory Group and is its Western States Co-Chair. Mr. Burns is currently ICSC's Southern California State Next Generation Committee chair.
STEVE M. SELCER
Retail Specialist
Steve Selcer joined Wilson Commercial Real Estate in October 2004 as a retail specialist. His primary focus is the marketing and leasing of existing and new shopping center developments throughout southern California. Mr. Selcer has many solid tenant relationships and comprehensive experience in retail market analysis and lease negotiations which makes him an important asset to our clients.
Prior to joining Wilson Commercial Real Estate, he worked at The Legaspi Company, a well recognized boutique retail real estate brokerage firm in Los Angeles, CA, where he exclusively represented Quiznos Sub, Carvel Ice Cream, Farmer Boys Hamburgers, Robeks Juice, PLS Financial, Check n Go!, Slender Lady and Inaara MedSpa. While at The Legaspi Company Mr. Selcer negotiated more than 70 leases for chain retailers.
Previous to The Legaspi Company, Mr. Selcer served as a financial analyst for Sony Pictures Entertainment preparing strategic budget and forecasts. Prior to Sony Pictures, he worked for Fox Studios in a similar capacity. Mr. Selcer’s family has owned and developed shopping centers in the greater Los Angeles area for over 25 years.
Mr. Selcer graduated from San Diego State University in June 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and holds a California Department of Real Estate Salesperson license. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), ICSC Next Generation and Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives (ACRE).
PETER S. KAY
Retail Leasing Specialist
Peter S. Kay joined Wilson Commercial Real Estate in 2006 as a Retail Leasing Specialist. His responsibilities since joining the firm have included the leasing of multiple shopping centers throughout Southern California. These centers are anchored by Wal-Mart, Ross, The Home Depot, Albertsons and Target.
Prior to joining Wilson Commercial Real Estate, Mr. Kay worked as a leasing agent with Westwood Financial Corporation in Los Angeles, CA. He was involved in all aspects of day-to-day leasing for the owner/landlord and was personally responsible for several property related marketing projects including the firm's newly purchased San Ysidro Village Shopping Center located at the U.S./Mexico border.
Previous to Westwood Financial, Mr. Kay spent nine years in the banking and finance industry. His professional career began with Bank of America in Richmond, Virginia where he served as a mortgage analyst. Previous he served as a credit analyst within City National Bank's Entertainment Division in Beverly Hills, CA.
Mr. Kay graduated from Radford University in Virginia in May 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and holds a California Department of Real Estate Salesperson license. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and ICSC Next Generation.
SHAUNA L. MATTIS
Vice President
Shauna L. Mattis joined Wilson Commercial Real Estate in 2007 after providing the firm with eight years of collaborative leasing effort with Kirnan Commercial Real Estate. Mrs. Mattis is serving as a company Vice-President and will be immediately involved in client management and leasing services for over 2,000,000 square feet of retail space throughout Southern California. Her responsibilities will include direct leasing efforts and oversight of other Wilson Commercial Real Estate leasing associates.
Prior to joining Wilson Commercial Real Estate, she worked at Kirnan Commercial, a well recognized real estate brokerage firm specializing in Landlord representation in the retail shopping center arena of commercial real estate. Mrs. Mattis assisted in all phases of the leasing and marketing of over 2 million square feet in community and power centers throughout the state of California and was also responsible for managing the company’s sales agents, maintaining client relations and overseeing the marketing strategies for each property. She has over 12 years experience in the industry.
Mrs. Mattis graduated form California State University Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication and Business Administration. She is a Licensed California Real Estate Sales Agent and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers organization. She was also designated as a CoStar Power Broker for Los Angeles in 2006. Mrs. Mattis has three young children and currently lives in Manhattan Beach.
JUDY L. CARTER
Lease Administrator
Judy Carter has been the office manager and lease administrator since January 1996. Her responsibilities also include managing the company databases and information systems and coordinating the property marketing and leasing activity reports. Additionally, she serves as an assistant leasing agent.
Prior to joining Wilson Commercial Real Estate, Ms. Carter held positions with two investigation agencies in Los Angeles over an eight-year period. She holds a California Department of Real Estate Salesperson license and is a bonded California Notary Public.

SCOTT TIANO
Senior Vice President
Scott Tiano is a Senior Vice President of Wilson Commercial Real Estate –Investment Sales Group, which was formed in 2008. Tiano previously served as a senior advisor for Sperry Van Ness specializing in the sale of shopping centers, retail property and commercial development sites. Tiano’s expertise spans the entire Southern California region, but he has marketed and sold property in 11 states throughout the U.S. During the past four years Tiano has secured numerous transactions resulting in a sales volume in excess of $300 million. As a principal, Tiano has owned and managed commercial property in Texas, Missouri and Arizona.
Prior to joining Wilson Commercial Real Estate, Tiano served as an acquisitions consultant, responsible for underwriting development and investment opportunities throughout California, Arizona and Texas. Additionally, Tiano was responsible for raising more than $90 million in debt and equity for the acquisition of commercial property in the above markets.
Previously, Tiano served as an independent marketing consultant advising clients on marketing strategy, patent viability and prototype development. Tiano was also the co-founder of Bridge Pictures, Inc., an independent feature film production and distribution company. Tiano successfully raised more than $10 million for the venture and was responsible for all aspects of finance, production and distribution of five feature films.
Tiano’s professional affiliations include serving as a cabinet member of the United Jewish Federation’s Real Estate and Construction Division, a recruitment committee member of Jewish Big Brothers, and a member of the Young Leadership Development Institute (YLDI). Tiano currently serves as a co-chair for the YLDI and has also been a “Big Brother” for more than 11 years.
Tiano earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Area Studies with an emphasis in the Latin American region, from the University of California, Los Angeles. Tiano is fluent in Spanish and spends his free time as a father to Josh, husband to Jennifer, as an avid drummer and saxophonist. Tiano resides in Calabasas, CA.
GEOFF TRANCHINA
Senior Vice President
Geoff Tranchina is a Senior Vice President of Wilson Commercial Real Estate –Investment Sales Group, which was formed in 2008. Tranchina formerly served as a vice president for Sperry Van Ness specializing in the sale of retail properties and land development sites throughout Southern California. With four years of experience, Tranchina has secured more than 35 transactions valued in excess of $300 million.
Tranchina’s commercial real estate abilities are strengthened by his extensive negotiation, consulting and market research experience. Within his first year at the firm, Tranchina became an Achiever’s Award winner in addition to reaching senior status. Recently, Tranchina was actively involved in the closing of the $130 million commercial portfolio in Los Angeles County.
Prior to joining Wilson Commercial Real Estate, Tranchina founded and operated an Interactive Entertainment company, focused on the licensing of exclusive game content, in Eugene, Oregon. While there, he acted as the CEO involved in day-to-day operations, as well as fundraising, strategic vision, and investor relations. He also served as senior financial analyst for Pacific Charter Financial, an investment banking and consulting firm headquartered in Newport Beach, California. Tranchina began his career in marketing at AlphaShopNetwork Services, Inc., an internet marketing and consulting firm based out of Eugene, Oregon.
Tranchina’s passion is for participating with the local Jewish Groups, and he has spent the last 10 years directly involved with B’nai Brith. He is also an active member of the Jewish Federations real estate professionals group.
ELIZABETH HOXWORTH
Retail Specialist
Elizabeth Hoxworth joined Wilson Commercial Real Estate in 2008. Ms. Hoxworth brings 25 years of real estate experience to the organization. Her diverse experience includes development, financing, and leasing both as a landlord, landlord representative, a tenant and a tenant representative, and as a Retail Real Estate consultant. Consulting services have included repositioning strategies and market analysis .Clients have included Citibank, Chase Manhattan, Lowe Enterprise, Highland Development Company and Lincoln Heights Redevelopment Agency.
Prior to joining WCRE Ms. Hoxworth served as Vice President of Real Estate for Aaron Brothers Art and Framing expanding the chain from 68 stores operating in 3 states to a 150 store chain operating in 8 states. Previously, Hoxworth operated Professional Real Estate whose project credits include leasing and developing 525,000 sq. ft. Dessert Crossing shopping center in Palm Desert, CA with Lowe Realty Advisors consulting with Citicorp Real Estate on Canyon Springs in Moreno Valley and Pacific Plaza in Ontario, CA. Other leasing included The Quad in Whittier, CA, Rosemead Square, Temple City Square, Palm Springs Mall, Brea Market Place and Metro Pointe. Ms. Hoxworths Tenant representative assignments have included Michaels Arts and Crafts, Aaron Brothers, Petrie Stores, Score at Kaplan and several quick service franchisees.
Ms. Hoxworth also served as Vice President of Leasing at Champion Development, responsible for the leasing of 40 retail properties and as a development manager to Temple City and Monterey Park for two large redevelopment projects
Ms. Hoxworth relocated to Southern California from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she served as a Development Manager and General Partner at the Leo Eisenberg company overseeing the development of 800,000 square feet of community and regional shopping centers.
Ms. Hoxworth is a long time member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. She has served for 15 years on the Governing Boards of the Hathaway-Sycamores, one of Los Angeles Counties largest child and family mental health organizations.
